Seven Weddings and a Pandemic

 I was due to go to seven weddings this year! I think this was a record, for me. However, sadly only one now looks like going ahead.

The cancellation of weddings and other major events has caused a minefield of legal issues - particularly to do with contracts. 

I had a friend recently call me up who runs a marquee company, and had a client cancel, an expensive booking. Another groom who wanted to know if he would have to pay if he postponed the venue; and also a photographer with no terms and conditions, sent to clients, and therefore no ability to be paid in the face of cancellations at the last minute.
